Table of Contents

More than 150 years ago, a group of British military engineers called Sappers set up camp where the majestic Fraser River splits north and south to survey land that would briefly become the capital of British Columbia.  Though New Westminster lost the provincial government to Victoria by 1862, the area had quickly become home to two critical city-building institutions – the Royal Columbian hospital and the Saperton Brewery. The brewery eventually shut down in 2005 but the hospital remains and now, in its place, on the nine-acre former brewery site, a dynamic, master-planned community has emerged with all the services and amenities needed for living, working, dining and shopping.

Here you’ll find beautiful, new:

Pet-friendly rental housing options situated amidst beautifully landscaped greenways, view decks, cycling paths and easy, nearby access to the Skytrain (Saperton Station) connecting residents to downtown Vancouver in just 30 minutes.  Seriously, it could be time to set aside those car keys!
