The cottage is located beside our house on a treed lot on beautiful Protection Island. It is self-contained, clean, bright, tastefully done with neutral-colour walls & heated tile flooring in the bathroom. The main areas have wood floors & lots of windows. There is a nice sized open main room with a skylight & loft storage, a galley kitchen with stove, fridge & microwave & lots of cupboards & a small carpeted sleeping space that can fit in a single bed and dresser. Available mid-Dec. or January. It could make a lovely long term location for someone wanting to be near the city.... but whom really appreciates the quietness and beauty of the country. The island has multiple parks and numerous access points to the oceanfront within walking distance of the cottage. Protection Island is only accessible by private boat or the Dinghy Dock Passenger Ferry which is a 10 min ride which runs 7 am - 10pm generally.
