Renting in Gastown, Vancouver
Gastown is where Vancouver started, a National Historic Site of Victorian and Edwardian warehouses along Water, Cordova and Powell Streets in the Downtown local area, with its eastern edge running into the Downtown Eastside. There is little purpose built rental; instead you find loft conversions with exposed brick and tall windows, and newer mid rise infill. Waterfront Station brings together the Expo Line, the Canada Line, the SeaBus and the West Coast Express. Chinatown is just south, and the office core of Downtown is to the west.
