Renting in Kensington Market, Toronto

Kensington Market fills the blocks between Spadina Avenue and Bathurst Street in Toronto, from College Street down to Dundas Street West. Victorian row houses on its narrow streets, Augusta, Kensington and Baldwin, have become shops selling fish, cheese, spices, produce and vintage clothes, with people living above them, so rentals are mostly flats over shops and rooms in shared houses. There is no subway station, but the 510 Spadina streetcar reaches Spadina Station in about seven minutes. Chinatown is just east on Spadina, and Little Italy starts just west along College, past Bathurst.
