Edwardian-era wood frame apartment built between 1906 and 1907, construction associated to Edward Hobson, residential developer. One of the oldest extant apartment in the West End. It features a hipped-roof structure, shed roof dormers and symmetrical form. It shows Arts and Crafts style influence such as the casement windows. It was built in the peak of the expansion of the B.C. Electric Railway’s street car lines. Its heritage importance is also due to its continuous residential use for more than a century, its original fenestration, original floor-to-ceiling front door with original stained glass and the four internal red bricks chimneys.
