Meanwhile, in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/liv.rent\/rental-listings\/city\/vancouver\" target=\"_blank\">Vancouver<\/a> proper, Downtown rents went up (+2.59%) while South Van rents went down almost 5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rentals for unfurnished units in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Surrey (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/liv.rent\/rental-listings\/city\/surrey?page=1\" target=\"_blank\">Surrey<\/a> (+3.92%) and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/liv.rent\/rental-listings\/city\/new-westminster?page=1\" target=\"_blank\">New Westminster<\/a> (5.06%) went up slightly month over month, while they dipped (-2.33%) in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"North Vancouver (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/liv.rent\/rental-listings\/city\/north-vancouver?page=1\" target=\"_blank\">North Vancouver<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding furnished rent, it&#8217;s kind of split across the board. There are 71% of our users under the age of 34.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Close to half of the renters on our platform are between the ages of 25 and 34.
