Conversely, unfurnished rent prices dipped off just a tiny bit (-0.65%) in the same neighbourhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In South Vancouver (+3.81%) and in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Surrey (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/liv.rent\/rental-listings\/city\/surrey?page=1\" target=\"_blank\">Surrey<\/a> (+3.51%,) unfurnished rent climbed. So, on average, renters are spending 40% of their income on rent. Still, it&#8217;s a good look at how far a dollar goes if room to roam is a priority for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, the average rent per square foot across Metro Vancouver was $2.54 per square foot.
