We&#8217;re taking a look at the average rent of a 1 bedroom, unfurnished apartment over the 6-months. We saw the greatest volatility in the Vaughan\/Richmond Hill region of the GTA &#8211; a slight 2.22% rise in rates for unfurnished listings but a significant drop of 13.94% for furnished The average rent in Toronto for an unfurnished one-bedroom apartment is $1,773, down from <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/liv.rent\/blog\/2020\/07\/july-2020-toronto-rent-report\/\" target=\"_blank\">July&#8217;s <\/a>$1,792.
