We&#8217;ve been listening to our users and have responded with some key changes to our photo management functionality that make it easier for landlords to present their properties in the most attractive way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Organize Photos Easily<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Change Order of Photos <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is now even easier to organize the photos of your property. You can now upload (add),  delete (remove) images and modify the order in which they appear in the image carousel for your property by simply dragging and dropping the images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Set a Cover Photo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To select a feature image (cover photo), drag the preferred photo to the very top. This image will now represent your property when users are scrolling through listing. The rest of the property images will display in the carousel once the user selects your property.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"354\" height=\"767\" src=\"https:\/\/liv.rent\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Organizing-Your-PhotosFinal.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13775\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First Impressions Matter <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When trying to attract the best possible tenants, first impressions matter. Taking good property photos that are well composed, well-lit, and in focus is the very best advertising you can get for your place. Photos of a tidy space will attract more tenants than a blurry image of a messy kitchen so take the time to research how to take good property photos.  In the liv.rent app, it is also important to choose the very best image you can to be your &#8216;cover&#8217; photo. Trust us &#8211; it will significantly boost interest in our property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choosing a Cover Image<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve told you how to set your cover image, but how do you choose a photo to be your cover image? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our data suggests cover photos that feature these 3 elements, draw the most attention from users and the best selection of applicants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1.Kitchens<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Let&#8217;s face it, people want a clean, functional, and ideally modern kitchen. If a property offers expansive views and\/or great outdoor spaces, feature them. In the exterior shot, nothing meaningful is featured. You see a corner of a house. While the bedroom photo is poorly lit and the desk and bed both cropped conveying a spartan, cramped room. Neither of these will entice users to investigate further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liv.rent\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/unit_3319_5dc9f16d10d5e_blob.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liv.rent\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/unit_1321_5d92914f9df59_blob.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<br><br>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> <strong>Pools &amp; Amenities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pools immediately evoke a sense of luxury and escape. Do they show your property at its best? If not, take some more. And consider these property photography tips:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li> Before snapping that pic, de-clutter as best you can. Remove personal effects, dish towels, discarded coats etc. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dark spaces are unattractive so if possible, take photos in daylight and turn all the lights on in your place.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ideally, include an image of every room and outdoor space. And remember, you don&#8217;t need a fancy camera. Your phone is sufficient. Just brief yourself on the fundamentals of composition.
